Regional Co-ordinators

We believe the best way to deliver our mission and corporate objectives is, over time, to recruit volunteer Regional Co-ordinators for the 12 local authorities in the North East of England:

  • Darlington Borough
  • Durham County
  • Gateshead
  • Hartlepool Borough
  • Middlesborough
  • Newcastle City
  • North Tyneside
  • Northumberland County
  • Redcar & Cleveland Borough
  • South Tyneside
  • Stockton Borough
  • Sunderland City

Working closely with the Chair, the Regional Co-ordinators will :-  represent the charity locally, give presentations to local groups, support the recruitment of volunteers, liaise locally with key agencies and partners, supporting any local volunteer or establishment concerns, encourage participation in the Annual Kielder Dog Walk and arrange or facilitate local outings and events.

The likely profile is a business manager with a professional approach, a strong communicator, a dog lover, passionate about our work, a team player, customer focussed, consultative and sensitive to the needs of others, a pragmatic problem solver, feeling closely aligned with our corporate values.

The likely time commitment is 1 day per week including a half day monthly meeting in Hexham.  Other ad hoc:  Annual Kielder Dog Walk, events as agreed separately.
