Whether you’re taking part as an individual or as part of a group...

Letting us know whether you’re walking individually or as part of a group will simplify your registration process.  We’re anticipating a mix of people walking, some on their own, some with and some without dogs, some children and others in groups of friends, families and even colleagues.

Once each walker has hit their minimum fundraising target of £50 we’ll be sending out your t shirts and, for every dog walking, a bandana too.

Contact and general information...

These details help us to communicate with you with news about the event. If you’re registering as part of a group, one person should be appointed as ‘group leader’, providing full details for themselves, but only names and email addresses for the other walkers in their group.

The group leader will receive the t-shirt parcel for everyone which might mean a trip to the post office in some circumstances!   Don’t forget to get your sizing right as practically we can’t accept returns or issue replacements.

The information provided will only be used for the purposes of this event and for receiving our e:news in the future; it will never be shared with third parties.

We’re also hoping that you can tell us why you’re supporting this charity. It’s really helpful for us to know why people support us.

Fundraising and setting up your JustGiving page or downloading a sponsorship form...

Last year the Walk for Wag at Kielder raised £10,738, our goal is to raise at least amount this year to support us at a time when most physical fundraising events have been cancelled.  It’s critical for our elderly friends that we are here, stronger than ever for them, when the pandemic is over and restrictions are lifted.

There is no charge to take part in the Walk for Wag... Anywhere, we’re just asking you each for a £5 minimum donation to cover the cost of postage for your official Wag branded t-shirts and doggie bandanas and to raise at least £50 per walker to support this important cause.

JustGiving is an online fundraising site that makes it easy for you to collect sponsorship money... after you’ve registered we’ll direct you to our Walk for Wag Anywhere campaign to create your own fundraising page.

If you’d prefer not to use JustGiving, don’t worry, you can download a sponsorship form or simply make a donation.

To get started, just let us know whether you’re registering as an individual or as a group leader below, mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. If you find that you can’t submit your form, chances are that you’ve not filled in one of the mandatory fields.
